Tulip Exotic Emperor
The earliest double white tulip.
Last year, this tulip was the first to bloom for me. The creamy yellow blooms mature to ivory with distinctive golden flames at the base and green stripes on the outer petals. Emperor (or Fosteriana) tulips are very early to bloom and are known for their ability to perennialize in the landscape. Exotic Emperor is also known by the variety name, White Valley. NOTE: Bulbs do not come pre-chilled; if growing in hardiness Zones 8–10, see growing information (below) for pre-chilling instructions.
Classification: Double Early Flowering, Emperor, or Fosteriana
Grows best in Zones 3–7
Plant Height: 16–18"
*Some of these pics are from tulips I grew in spring 2024, some of the pics are not my pics and are stock pics from the supplier
